Bobby Clark named to the inaugural Class of the "Pillars of Community" class.
Clemson, South Carolina - Congratulations to our Brother Bobby Clark (Spr. 1985) for being named to the inaugural class of the "Pillars of the Community" Class, which was named in honor of the 50 years of Greek Life at Clemson.
Brother Clark joined five other Clemson Alumni who were recognized at the Pillar of Community Gala on April 22 at the Madren Conference Center.
The class of six Clemson Greek leaders includes former University President, Jim Baker; the University Board, Char Kim Wilkerson; former University Historian, Jerome V. Reel; and diseased Faculty and Greek Advisor, Mable Winn. Clark and fellow employee Amanda Mays were the only active employees named in the class.
Clemson University is celebrating 50 years of affiliation with national fraternities and sororities in 2023. The celebration was originally marked for 2020 but was delayed to the global pandemic. Clemson Greek started in 1970. More on the award winners and Clemson's celebration is available here (Clemson News, March 2023).
Congratulations to Brother Clark on this great achievement. We are incredibly proud of your accomplishments.
