The Passing of Brother Willie Ed Pettway
It is with a heavy heart we deliver some very sad news.
Willie Ed Pettway, former President of Pi Alpha Chapter (1987-88) and Treasurer of PANAC (2001-2005), suddenly passed away Tuesday morning (8/23/05). Willie was a steadfast supporter of the undergraduate chapter, and a loyal friend, brother, husband, son, and father. He is survived by his wife, Dana (Gastonia, NC), and their two boys, Preston and Kendal. Willie and his family lived in Gastonia, NC, and Anderson, SC before moving to La Grange, GA last year. (2006) Dana and boys now in SC.

Surviving are sister Cynthia Ritter of SC and brothers Charles Pettway of SC and David Ritter, Jr. of MD. He was preceded in death by sister Gwendolyn Jackson of SC.
